Theoretical and Computational Chemist | Ryan Fellow

I’m a 4th-year PhD student in the Department of Chemistry at Northwestern University, advised by Dr. Roel Tempelaar, and a Ryan Fellow of the International Institute of Nanotechnology.
My current research focuses on devloping a mixed quantum–classical method to simulate strong light–matter interactions with a emphasis on polaritonic and plasmonic systems. Read more about my research intrests.
Outside the lab, I’m the co-chair of Taiwanese Young Research Association (Project TYRA), where I’m passionate about building connections among Taiwanese researchers and supporting Taiwanese students pursuing studying abroad.
Beyond the simulations I run in the lab, I also enjoy playing simulation games. A little bit more about me: I am a dog person, a traveler, and an amateur singer and piano accompanist. Read more about my non-research activities.
